An art dealer, Charles Mortdecai, searches for a stolen painting rumored to contain a secret code that gains access to hidden Nazi gold. A debt-ridden couple takes up a job to find a stolen Goya painting. They soon realise that there are others who are looking for it as well since it contains the code to a forgotten Nazi bank account. Mortdecai is a 2015 American action comedy film directed by David Koepp and written by Eric Aronson. The film is adapted from the novel series Mortdecai, Mortdecai revolves around a rogue art dealer Lord Charlie Mortdecai, struggling to keep his fortune and estate.
