Corpse Bride (2005)

Set in a 19th-century European village, this stop-motion animation feature follows the story of Victor, a young man whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious corpse bride, while his real bride Victoria waits bereft in the land of the living. A shy young man inadvertently brings a deceased woman to life when he practises his wedding vows near her grave. Trouble ensues when she thinks he is married to her. In an unnamed Victorian town, Victor Van Dort, the son of nouveau riche fish merchants, and Victoria Everglot, the neglected daughter of impoverished aristocrats, prepare for their arranged marriage.
