In 1930s China, a martial artist loses his home after the Imperial Japanese Army invades the country. With little means to survive, he must find a way to sustain his family. Ip Man is a 2008 Hong Kong biographical martial arts film based on the life of Ip Man, a grandmaster of the martial art Wing Chun and teacher of martial arts.
